CLIMATE CHANGE
Global warming and
climate change is being discussed a lot recently. Usually, climate change and
global warming are used to mean the same thing. But, there are differences
between them. For example, hurricanes, melting glaciers and forest fires are a
result of climate change. So, why does climate change happen? To understand
this we have to start with the atmosphere. Atmosphere means
"atmosfer" in Turkish. When the Sun's rays reach the Earth's surface,
it is reflected back into space. This helps the planet to cool down. But, if
something prevents this from happening, our planet starts to heat up. This is
where the problem starts.
