While climate is the most important factor that determines the living space and characteristics of living things, it is the source that meets all living needs for human beings. Climate change is a multifaceted and global problem that can lead to serious environmental and socio-economic consequences. Global warming refers to the long-term trend of average global temperature rise. Climate change is the change in global climate that results in average global warming. Considering the physical position of Turkey against the possible effects of climate change, it is seen that Turkey is among the risk group countries in terms of potential effects. Thus, the importance of the socio-economic and environmental effects that climate change may cause in Turkey becomes evident. Making climate change impact analyzes; It is important to determine the effects of climate change on various sectors and social segments in Turkey, to calculate the benefits and costs of climate change adaptation studies, to provide consensus among stakeholders with different views on climate change studies, to reduce uncertainties and thus to clarify priorities. Whatever the effect, the change in climatic conditions affects many areas of human beings, from natural resources to socio-economic structure. Climate change is a development problem. Even if the sources that cause climate change are reduced or even cut right now, greenhouse gases remaining in the atmosphere will continue to change climate events. The economic cost of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adaptation efforts will be much lower than the cost of the damage caused by climate change. The industrial sector causes the majority of global emissions. International and national regulations on climate change initiated a major transformation process in the industry. It is necessary to take measures against the factors that are expected to emerge in the industy due to adaptation to climate change , which will directly affect production and competitiveness
