CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change is an important issue that has been on our agenda lately. As a result of the greenhouse effect, which is thought to be caused by the greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere with the increase of gases such as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, the climate changes due to the increase in the average temperatures measured on land, sea and air on Earth. Climate changes have not only changed the world's geography, especially through glacial movements and sea level changes, but have also brought about permanent changes in ecological systems. For example, while the average temperature in Turkey was 13 degrees 10 years ago, the current average temperature is 16 degrees. Global warming has a great impact on both the environment we live in and us. These effects are generally bad. These bad effects;

1- Polar bears cannot hibernate

2- Differentiation of vegetation due to the change of seasons

3- Drought

4- Heavy rain and storms

5- The danger of extinction of some animal species

In order to minimize the effects of global warming, we must reduce our carbon footprint, be economical in water consumption, take care of afforestation and protect fertile agricultural lands

  ORMANLARIMIZ   Dünya nasıl nefes alıyor hiç merak ettiniz mi? Bu soruya “Ormanlar sayesinde” şeklinde cevap vermek yanlış olmaz. Ormanlar dünyanın en önemli oksijen kaynaklarındandır.   Orman belirli yükseklikteki ve büyüklükteki çeşitli ağaçlardan, çalılardan, otsu bitkilerden, mantarlardan, mikroorganizmalardan ve hayvanlardan oluşan, doğal bir kara ekosistemidir.   Yeryüzü için birçok faydası bulunan yemyeşil ormanlar çok sayıda ağaç barındırır. Her bir ağaçtaki yaprak sayısı düşünüldüğünde ağaçların neden çok büyük bir oksijen kaynağı olduğu anlaşılabilir.   Yeryüzünde karaların %31’i ormanlarla kaplıdır.
