FOREST FIRES; CAUSES AND DAMAGES

Hectares of forests disappear in a short time every year due to carelessness and negligence. Why do forest fires occur? What are the effects of deforestation? Especially in the summer months when the air temperature reaches the highest levels, forest fires also increase. You can prevent forest fires, which negatively affect both natural life and the ecosystem, by taking precautions. Causes of Forest Fires
Forest fires caused by negligence and carelessness Lighting a fire in the forest without taking any safety precautions Leaving the lit fire unquenched Throwing unlit cigarette butts and matches on the ground Burning of unwanted grass or stubble in the forest or in adjacent fields Roaming the forest with fire for night lighting Leaving glass and shards in the forest Children playing with fire in the forest Intentional forest fires deliberate burning of forest to expand fields or pastures Setting fires to hide illegal work done in the forest Setting a fire to take revenge on someone or sabotage something Setting fires to drive away wildlife Damages of Forest Fires Biodiversity suffers greatly. The habitats of the creatures living in the forests are destroyed. With the disappearance of living and non-living cover, an increase in the number and speed of natural disasters such as erosion, flood-flood and air pollution is observed. Deteriorations occur in the climate system (by directly affecting temperature, wind, humidity and precipitation). Industries such as tourism, health, sports and hunting based on forest and forest products will be adversely affected.

Aslında gayet doğru bir söz . Nasıl mı: Eğer biz bu şekilde doğaya zarar vermeye devam edersek olacak tek şey FELAKETTİR. Peki bu kötü sonu kendi ellerimizle nasıl hazırladık? Masum gibi görülen piknikleri inceleyelim. Sizce piknik yapan herkes ateşi söndürüyor mu? Herkes çöplerini topluyor mu? Hayır! Fabrikalar on binlerce insana iş veriyor ama kimse madalyonun öteki yüzüne bakmıyor. Fabrikaların bacalarından havayı kirleten gazlar çıkıyor, denize canlıların yaşamını tehlikeye sokan maddeler dökülüyor. Kimse bunlarla ilgilenmiyo...

  The importance of forests cannot be underestimated. We depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we use. Besides providing habitats for animals and livelihoods for humans, forests also offer watershed protection, prevent soil erosion and mitigate climate change.
